My channel was inspired by my journey with Japan, even though I’m not living there. Watching Babymetal and Abroad in Japan videos sparked my interest and set me on this path. Every journey is unique. After discovering these videos, I decided to quit my 9-5 job, go back to school, and immerse myself in studying the language and culture. Some might think it’s unusual since I’m the oldest in the class, but I’m perfectly fine with that. I also work part-time in the field.

I realised there’s no dedicated website showcasing all things Japanese here in Iceland, so that inspired me to create one. If my studies continue going well, I plan to expand into vlogs and documentary-style videos on specific topics. For now, talking head videos are working well, but I have plenty of ideas and more content on the way. Stay tuned!

Rather than focusing on that negativity, I wanted to take a more positive approach and highlight the inspiration behind his project. His work motivated me to start making videos about things I find fascinating. I plan to create many videos about Japanese cinema because, like Mr. Broad, I have a deep appreciation for its beauty and storytelling. I hope this journey leads to something truly amazing.
